Missouri 2010 USSF Referee Re-registration

All existing USSF Referees, regardless of grade, must first re-register on-line for 2010 with USSF.  All re-registration fees are collected through USSF.  Follow the on-line instructions that come to you on the snail-mail post card from USSF.  If you don’t get a post card from USSF, you probably didn’t have a correct address on file with USSF, or you didn’t register for the last year or two.  Contact your DRA.  They will have you fill out a paper re-registration when you attend a re-certification clinic.

You also need to go to https://www.gotsport.com/ to complete a no-charge background check to work youth games.  To do that, you have to first create an referee profile, regardless of whether or not you’re an active referee.  After creating a profile as a referee, you must search for and select an event.  If you are not an active referee, choose the event entitled “Assignor Registration”.  Then after you register for that event and go back to your profile, a box will then appear allowing you to complete a background check.  If you are already an active referee in the gotsoccer system, you’ve already completed this procedure, so ignore this part because a copy of your approved background check is already on file with the SYRA.

Before your re-registration can be approved and released at USSF, you must also complete all other state requirements for your grade as a referee.  Annual renewal requirement may be found in the current USSF Referee Administrative Handbook.

ALL MISSOURI USSF REFEREES, REGARDLESS OF GRADE, MUST ATTEND A RE-CERTIFICATION CLINIC BEFORE THEIR RECORD CAN BE RELEASED AT USSF.

There are no exceptions to this.  If you want to be registered, get your badge and receive the benefits of being a USSF referee registered in Missouri, you must attend and pass a re-certification clinic. IN ADDITION, if you are a grade 7, 6, 5 or Emeritus referee, you must meet the other requirements for your grade.  Each of the grade 7, 6 and 5 must have one passing annual assessment and pass the physical testing requirements per the USSF Administrative Handbook.  All Emeritus referees must also meet all the same requirements of 7, 6’s or 5’s if they want to work games at that level in Missouri.  If you are going to be assigned games at that level, you must meet the same requirements as the active referees at that level.

Grade’s Emeritus, 7, 6 and 5 should submit copies of the passing feedback form from their assessment to their DRA.  Their DRA should also have information from the Instructor that conducted their physical testing.  Once all the requirements have been met, ONLY the DRA can submit their re-registration requirement to the state for release at the USSF level.  All referees get their new badge from their DRA, unless they have met all their requirements when they attend a re-cert clinic and can prove it there, in which case the will get their new badge at that time.

If you are a grade 8 or 7, you may elect to take your re-certification exam on-line ahead of attending a re-certification clinic.  Detailed instructions are on the front page at mrdp.org..
